One card fills the screen. Read it in a few seconds, swipe for the next. Made for the minutes between classes.

02

Short and sourced

Every card is 60 words or fewer and names where it came from. Want the whole story? It opens the original.

03

Checked by a person

Software helps draft each card. A person reads and approves every single one before it appears.

Questions

What is Krizlin?

A free local feed for the Greater Toronto Area. You swipe through short cards about transit, the city, campus, events near you and useful facts, one card per screen. Each card links to where it came from.

Where do the cards come from?

Official sources first: city and transit notices, government releases and open event calendars, plus a small number of publishers who allow it. Software drafts a short summary of the facts, automatic checks compare it with the source, and a person approves every card before it appears.

Do I need an account?

No. Reading, saving cards, the daily quiz and your settings all work without one. Signing in with Apple or Google only keeps them in sync across phones.

Which areas does it cover?

The whole GTA: Toronto, York Region, Peel, Durham and Halton. Choose your region in settings and Krizlin shows what's near you, along with anything that matters across the GTA and Canada.

Is it free?

Yes. Krizlin is free to read, with no paywall.

When can I get it?

Krizlin is coming to iPhone first, with Android after that.

Can I add my event?

Yes. Clubs, student groups and organizers can submit an event; we check every submission before it appears.

The GTA, one card at a time.
